10 Months

Girls, you are getting so big so quickly! Mommy cannot believe how much you have grown in the past few weeks. You've had a cold for what seems like months, but really just a few days. You are both standing un-assisted and trying to take those first steps. I know it won't be long. Here's what you've been up in the last couple of weeks....

Bettye Katheryne thinks being in the laundry basket is so much fun!

And so is "styling" Grandmother's hair.

Grandmother and the girls

Aurora decided to join her sister in the basket...I hope they enjoy folding clothes to get them out of the basket when they're older!

"Listen here sister, this is how it's gonna be!"
{So, I just realized that Aurora is chewing the door hinge...nice.}
Not sure what was so funny, but I LOVE this photo!

Bettye Katheryne got to drive the car.
Brother Tristan flipping at the "jumpy place" in the mall.
It was his reward for being so good all day!
At the mall with the new stroller. Please excuse Tristan's need to stick
out his tongue in every photo now. I had no idea he was doing this.

Tristan instituted a PJ day!
Aurora discovered the car and it was all over for BK.
Cutie pies in the morning.

At the doctor's office. One of the only photos of me with the girls.

Reading with Grandmother...touch the velvety horse's nose!

Aurora is a master climber...seriously, she can get over anything!

Cute Aurora girl!
Baby Bettye Katheryne!

Bettye Katheryne fell asleep eating in her high chair.
Maybe this is why she doesn't want to sit in it anymore.

We went to visit the St. Amant's. Adam has an awesome Disney room.
This photo looks like Goofy is stepping on BK...haha!
Adam figuring out how to take a photo of his visitors {who took over his room, which he was very sweet about and he even cleaned up all of his toys afterwards...so impressive!}

Melanie and Aurora
Adam on his top bunk...this photo was by request...from Adam!
All of the babies...Ryan {aka, little Melanie}, Bettye Katheryne and Aurora.

Tristan is such a popular big brother!

Aurora in her pumpkin suit.

So it's been quite a few weeks here and the girls are growing by the day. I can't believe that it's only 2 months until their 1st birthday. And speaking of birthday....their party is going to be December 19th from 11 to 2 at our house...more details later with an unveiling of the theme {if I haven't told you already because I can't keep my mouth shut}. Hope to see you all there!

9.5 months and time is flying!

I cannot believe how bad I have been about blogging. The girls are so interactive now and keep me running all day. We get out and about most days but are trying to avoid the pig flu. Here's a few cute shots from the last week.
Aurora wearing Daddy's hat...and pointing at me {not sure why, haha}

MIA Blogger

Sorry I've been off the wagon with the blogging. The girls have been such a hand full lately! They are pulling up like pros and now beginning to let go and stand by themselves. They are talking up a storm and say mommy, daddy and brother {though it sounds like "muh-muh" "dah-dee" and "brud-dah"}. Bettye Katheryne has been ill with {we think} a food allergy. It's taken everything I have to keep up with her and still juggle Aurora too. Here's a few of the cute photos we've snapped over the past weeks...

Aurora @ 9 months ~ 14lb 8oz

Bettye Katheryne @ 9 months ~ 18lb 8oz

Our friendly backyard deer. She hangs out in our yard for days at a time.

Aurora on Daddy's head...think they look alike?

Bettye Katheryne fell asleep like this.

She was so tired. We were eating dinner and looked over to see her pooped out!

Precoscious Little Girls

Bettye Katheryne after bath time

Aurora during "NAP" time

Riding Around Town

The girls have begun trying to walk now that they are standing up. They usually land on their face or head when they fall, but we're hoping they'll learn to sit on their tushies soon. Since they are so mobile, we got down Tristan's Winnie the Pooh riding toy to see if they had any interest in pushing it. They did, but it was much cuter to see them ride....together.

Bettye Katheryne thought it was great fun

Aurora was in charge, as usual.

Name that Baby!

Who is this?

MDO

This week was the girls' first day at Mother's Day Out {yay, yay, yay!}. Mommy had such a great time and got soooo much done while they played with their friends at church. It's once a week for 4.5 hours and I'm already counting down the days until they go next week. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls, but it's so nice to be able to get things done around the house without interuptions and even be able to go to the bathroom by myself!

Bettye Katheryne was ready to go and play with her friends...

Aurora was, well....let's just say that Mommy was ready for Aurora to go and play with her friends. Aurora is still cutting the last of 6 teeth, so fussy is her usual morning attitude.

The girls did great and the MDO workers were ready for a nap by pick-up time! They were amazed at how mobile these girls are and had a time keeping up with them for 4.5 hours. Yeah, tell me about it!
