A visit to see Lucy

On Monday, the girls and I headed off to visit with Fran and Lucy. Fran and I have actually known each other since fourth grade in Ms. Gardiner's class. You might ask how I remember the teacher's name from so long ago. Well, I looked it up in the yearbook. Yes, this yearbook.

So, what did we look like back when we were 10?

Sorry Fran, I couldn't resist. Now, Fran and I have baby girls born 2.5 months apart. Fran is such a good friend that she brought her very pregnant self to the hospital to visit me while I was on bed rest. We get together every few weeks and it's amazing to watch these girls grow so quickly. This week, we went to Fran's house where BK became enamored with their dogs. She would laugh out loud just watching them walk around. Since our immediate plans include not even the foggiest idea of adding an animal to the mix anytime soon, we'll have to visit Fran and Lucy again to get her fix. Here's a few shots of the girls from Monday.

Baby Lucy!

BK kept trying to give Lucy kisses. Her attempts were cut short by mommy. BK has teeth, so her kisses are a little sharp.

  1. Yikes! I actually have that yearbook too. I hope Lucy doesn't inherit my cowlick! We had a great time. I can't wait to do it again!

  2. Danielle! You may be 29 today, but you still look as youthful as you did when you were 10! There's no denying that picture.
